Description
K-65 Masonic dress sword. Large silvered knight’s helmeted pommel with a silver chained knuckle-bow. Center panel of cross guard has a knight’s head with a chain mail helmet. Stylized silver cross with red enameled cross on center, affixed to center of black wood handle. 30″ diamond shaped blade with center panel between gold floral panel of knights, etc. Reverse is similar with knight’s battle scenes and floral work.. Nickel scabbard with some age “dimpling”, high relief fittings of knight’s shield, arms, blue crown, red cross, center with swords, armor, red enamel cross, etc. Tip with openwork, arms, spears, etc. Circa 1890. Very good condition given its age.
